Intro

We're excited to host our third year of this exclusive middle school speech and debate camp and have put together an invigorating curriculum, with high-class teaching and individualized feedback, for all students enrolled. The camp will be held from August 8th to August 12th at Lynbrook High School. Each day, students will attend the camp from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Curriculum

The camp will first be focused on speech-writing and speech delivery to hone the students' ability to put their thoughts on paper and translate them into coherent words when speaking. Then, students will learn proper techniques of argumentation and how to construct arguments, with lessons and practice on actual debating. The camp will culminate with an intra-camp tournament in which students will debate against each other to apply their knowledge in a practical situation.

Qualifications

We guarantee a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio for each classroom, ensuring that each student receives special, individualized attention to maximize their success. Moreover, instructors for the Camp have been accepted by many prestigious universities, including Stanford, Yale University, UPenn, Brown, Cornell, Dartmouth, Rice, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and more.
